The M2A is a Single-Ended all tube guitar amplifier designed for the home studio where volume levels are a concern. At 1 watt of output power It achives brilliant clean tones and a rich musical tube overdrive while not risking eviction. Features include a 1/4 inch line out allowing you to use it as a guitar preamp for recording or driving other amplifiers.
All electronic components have been carefully selected for superior sonic quality and durability Including custom output transformers hand made in California by Mercury Magnetics & PEC potentiometers. Running one 12AX7 preamp tube, a 12AU7 as a parallel single ended power tube and EZ81 rectifier tube. Three knobs control Preamp Volume, Tone and Master Volume which allows you to shape the amps gain from sparkling clean to nuclear war overdrive. By request I offer 4, 8 or 16 ohm speaker output options allowing you to connect to a wide variety of speaker cabinets.
The cabinet is built from high quality hardwoods and two options are currently available, walnut with cherry & walnut with maple. All hand made in by Dominique at Oaksmith Furniture in San Francisco, CA.
The M1 is a Single-Ended Class A amplifier inspired by the 1959 Fender Tweed Princeton. Only the finest electronic parts are used Including Mercury Magnetics output transformers hand made in California and PEC potentiometers. Running one 12AX7 preamp tube, 6V6GT power tube and 5Y3 rectifier tube delivering 5 watts of power. Three knobs control Volume, Tone and Inverse Feedback which allows you to shape the amps gain & fidelity. It has a switchable output for 8 or 16 ohm speakers (4 ohm option also available).
All of our cabinets are hand made in San Francisco using high quality Hardwoods.
